Returns Policy – PPD Performance Ltd

PPD Performance Ltd is a New Zealand–registered company and operates the website www.ppdperformance.nz. This Returns Policy applies to purchases made via our New Zealand website.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any of your rights under New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.


1. How to Request a Return

All return requests must be emailed to sales@ppdperformance.com.au and must include:

  • Your full name, contact number and address

  • Your order number

  • Details of the item(s) you wish to return

  • The reason you wish to return the item(s)

  • Photos of the item(s), and packaging where relevant

No products are to be returned to PPD Performance Ltd without express written approval. Any return received without prior approval may be refused and returned at your cost.


2. Change of Mind – PPD Performance, Ozroo & Canyon Off-Road Products

As per New Zealand consumer law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind or have ordered the wrong item.

Where PPD Performance Ltd, at its discretion, agrees to accept a return for change of mind or incorrect choice on the following brands:

  • PPD Performance exhausts

  • Ozroo products

  • Canyon Off-Road accessories

then:

  • A 17.5% restocking and administrative fee will be applied; and

  • This fee will be deducted from any refund or store credit issued.

Returned items must be unused, in resaleable condition and include all original packaging, accessories and documentation.


3. Special Order, Made-to-Order and Third-Party Items

We cannot accept returns or order cancellations due to change of mind for third-party items that are:

  • Specifically ordered in for you;

  • Produced to order; or

  • Assembled to fulfil an individual order.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Xrox / Outback Accessories & Ironman bull bars, rear bars, steps and accessories

  • Suspension components and lift kits

  • Black Duck® seat covers

  • EGR branded accessories (including flares, canopies, roller covers, soft covers, load shields)

  • Cruiser Console interior products

  • Emu Wing / The Cruiser Company accessories

  • Direction Plus Diesel Accessories (including fuel filters and catch cans)

  • Electronic accessories

  • Meredith Metalworks snorkels, airboxes and components

Where PPD Performance Ltd, at its discretion, agrees to accept a return on such items:

  • Any refund will be reduced by:

    • Assembly and disassembly charges; and

    • Any freight or return costs incurred in returning the item to the distributor; and

  • A restocking fee between 17.5% and 25% of the invoiced value will be applied and deducted from any refund or credit.


4. Condition of Returned Items

Unless otherwise required under New Zealand consumer law:

  1. No returns will be accepted for items that have been installed on a vehicle or have had an attempted installation (evidence of fitment, marks, or use).

  2. Returns will only be accepted where the item is:

    • Unused and in resaleable condition; and

    • In its original packaging, including all accessories, fittings and documentation.

Items that are used, damaged, incomplete or not in original packaging may not be eligible for a refund or may incur additional charges.


5. Time Limit on Returns

Without exception, and subject to New Zealand consumer law:

  • No returns will be accepted more than 90 days after the date of purchase, unless we are legally required to provide a remedy (for example, in the case of a fault under the Consumer Guarantees Act).

If you believe a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after becoming aware of the issue.


6. Responsibility for Return Freight

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by New Zealand law:

  • All return postage and freight costs are the responsibility of you, the customer.

  • PPD Performance Ltd is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in return transit.

  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method for all returns.

Refunds or credits (where approved) will only be processed once the returned product has been received and inspected by PPD Performance Ltd or our supplier, and confirmed to meet the conditions of this policy, except where a different approach is required under New Zealand consumer law.
